Hi there! I’m Dominique, I’m the CEO and co-founder of C.A.R.E.S. When I was 16, my little brother, who was 4 entered the foster care system, and we stopped talking after that. The trauma from dealing with CPS pushed me to start a non-profit to transform my pain into something powerful. I’m dedicated to helping young people, both past and present, achieve greatness and create their own families

We started C.A.R.E.S because we believe that foster kids deserve a voice! And let’s not forget, the foster adults matter just as much. FAMILY IS IMPORTANT. C.A.R.E.S isn’t tied to any political or religious views; we’re just good people wanting to make a difference for others.

2nd and 4th Thursdays at 6pm, (MT) we like meet with members of our community from all over the world to talk about the changes we have started in our communities and the struggles we face while supporting each other.
